How to Install PearOS Catalina on VMware on Windows PC?
Before installing PearOS Catalina on VMware on Windows PC you have to download the required files from the below down-links. The links include the PearOS Catalina ISO image file, VMware Workstation’s latest version file.
Create A New Virtual Machine
After you have downloaded the VMware Workstation from the above link, simply extract the file via WinRAR or 7Zip. Then run the installation and install it on your Windows PC. After that, navigate to VMware and launch it, on the main wizard click on “Create a New Virtual Machine”.
On the next window select the “Typical Recommended” then click next, select “I will install the operating system later” and click next.
Now select the guest operating system “Linux”, select the version “Other Linux 5.x and later kernel 64-Bit” then click next. Select the virtual machine name and click next.
Choose the option “Store virtual disk as a single file”, then select the maximum size disk and click next.
Once you are at the last step, simply click on “Customize Hardware” to edit the Virtual machine settings.
Once the virtual machine settings window opened, from the left-handed window side select the Memory tab, increase the memory size. Select the Processors tab, and increase the number of processors.
Select the “New CD/DVD/IDE” tab, then click on the Browse option to insert the PearOS Catalina ISO Image file. Select the PearOS Catalina ISO image file and click on the Open option, when the PearOS Catalina ISO file is added click on Close.
Now click on the Finish option to create the virtual machine.
Install PearOS Catalina on VMware
When the virtual machine is successfully created, click on “Power on this virtual machine”.
Once you logged in to the virtual machine window double click on Install PearOS Catalina to start the installation process.
- Once the installation window is opened select your language and click on next.
- Select your location and click next.
- Select your keyboard layout and click Next.
- Now choose the “Erase Disk” option and click next, wait until it should erase the disk where you install the PearOS Catalina.
- Enter your username and password then click next.
- Wait for the installation until it should be completed, when the installation is completed click on Done to restart the virtual machine.
- Once you are back there finally you will see the PearOS Catalina full-screen on VMware.
