Testing several operating systems is pretty much interesting as we have tested PearOS ThiccSur on VMware on Windows PC. Through this post, I will guide you step by step on how to install PearOS ThiccSur on VirtualBox on Windows PC. As PearOS Monterey, PearOS ThiccSur, and PearOS Catalina installation process is the same. But for you it might be difficult therefore, I wanted to test it on VirtualBox.
What is VirtualBox?
VirtualBox is a free open-source hypervisor for virtualization build by Oracle Corporation. Oracle is a virtual machine that can be installed on different operating systems such as Windows, Linux, macOS, and other operating systems. It goodness is that Oracle VirtualBox is a free open-source and there is no restriction on it.

Install PearOS ThiccSur on VirtualBox
For installing PearOS ThiccSur you have to download the required files from the below down-links. After downloading the required file like VirtualBox. Firstly you need to install it on your Windows PC. After the installation run the VirtualBox and create a Virtual Machine.
Step 1. Open the VirtualBox on the main window click on the New option.
Step 2. Once the next window is opened type the name of Virtual Machine, specify the folder where you want to place PearOS ThiccSur. Select the “Type” Linux, Select the Version Other Linux (64-Bit), and increase the Memory Size and click Create. On the next window select the file size then select “VHD (Virtual Hard Disk)” and click Create to create the Virtual machine.
Step 3. Once the virtual machine is created click on Settings to edit some settings.
Step 4. When the virtual machine settings window opened from the left-handed select System, then select motherboard and uncheck the Floppy disk. Click on the processor and increase the number of processors.
Step 5. Select the Display tab and increase the Video Memory up to 128MB.
Step 6. Select the Storage tab then click on the Empty icon, then click on the Disk icon, and click on Choose/create a virtual optical disk.
Step 7. Click on Add button, when the next window is opened select the PearOS ThiccSur ISO image file and click Open.
Step 8. When the ISO file is added click on Choose option, and click OK to make changes to the virtual machine.
Install PearOS ThiccSur
When the Virtual machine is successfully created, now you have to install the PearOS ThiccSur on VirtualBox on Windows PC. To run the installation select the PearOS ThiccSur created virtual machine and click on the Start button.
- Once you launched the virtual machine wait for the Apple logo, when you reach to PearOS ThiccSur window double-click on Install PearOS ThiccSur to launch the installation.
- On the welcome wizard simply click next.
- Choose your location where you live and click next.
- Choose your keyboard layout and click Next.
- In the Partitions, the window selects the Erase option and clicks next.
- Enter your name and password and click install.
- Now, wait until the installation should be completed.
- While the installation successfully completed click on the Done option to restart the virtual machine.
