The thing that is important for the recovery mode is the Apple ID email address, and you have to know how you enter the recovery mode.

If you want to enter the recovery mode on your Mac PC, simply turn on your PC then press the Command + R key to enter the recovery mode window.

Step 1. Turn on your PC if you want to reset your Mac with this method, then press and hold the power button until the Options window should appear. When the options window appeared using the arrow key select the Options and press the enter key.

Step 5. When you get back to the Utilities window click on Utilities option from the top menu bar and select the terminal option.

Step 6. When the Terminal window opened without any space type “ResetPassword” and press the enter key.

Step 7. When the password is reset simply again the reset password window will appear again you have to click on Forgot all password.

Step 8. No click on Deactivate Mac option to deactivate all the passwords.

Step 9. When another window popped up after pressing the Deactivate Mac option, after that, you will be asked permission to deactivate your Mac machine in order to proceed to the next window where you will be required to set a new password.

Step 10. Again in this step, you will be required to enter your Apple ID email address, in this case, your computer must be connected to the internet. Otherwise, you won’t be able to proceed to the next step.

Step 11. When the user’s window is opened click on Set password, on the pop-up window set the new password for your user account on Mac.
